Yoga & Tai Chi Teacher

I began training with a Vietnamese Grand Master in 2012, and received my 200 hour teacher training certificate in 2017. I had been doing yoga informally since I was a teenager, using books, video tapes, DVD's; Master Adam was my first "live" teacher, and I came to see the value in that. I began teaching Raja Yoga in 2014, and have also taught other forms, as well as tai chi. 
Raja (Royal or King) Yoga comes from the Vietnamese tradition of Yoga. It combines familiar yoga poses with strenuous exercise and is suitable for people at all levels of practice- from beginners to more advanced levels. Because my classes are small, I tailor them to fit individuals at their pace and skills, also what they hope to get out of yoga. Class times are Tuesdays and Fridays at 9am. All classes are an hour and one-half long and are held at 204 Parker Lane, Knotts Island, NC, 27950. $15 per hour.

I began teaching tai chi in 2017, at the request of those who wanted a form of exercise that was gentler, more flowing and more calming than traditional yoga. These tai chi classes evolved into Chi Yoga classes, a unique blend of gentle, yin yoga with the flowing movements of tai chi. Saturday mornings at 9am we have a shorter, somewhat easier class for those new to yoga, or unsure of committing themselves to 90 minutes of yoga! This Saturday morning class begins at 9am, and is 30-45 minutes long. $6 per class or 2 classes for $10.
