In 2014, the Grand Master I was training with, teamed up with Light Age Films to make a movie loosely based on his life. I was Story Consultant on that indie film, and became Associate Producer as well. The film was shot on the island where I live and teach yoga, and in Virginia Beach, VA., and eventually was titled Eyes of the Roshi, starring Eric Roberts, Ethan Marten and Grand Master Adam himself.

 

This "little Indie film that could" would go on to win inclusion in the Burbank and Soho film festivals, as well as awards from the Hollywood International Moving Pictures Film Festival and IndieWire. It had it's Red Carpet Premiere at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Virginia Beach, VA on August 20, 2016 and a midnight showing at the Naro Theatre in Norfolk, VA., in 2017.

And the journey continues, as Eyes of the Roshi gained national distribution with Leomark Studios and became available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and through iTunes. You can also purchased signed and unsigned copies from here.
