Sometime Artist
Making art has been my lifelong interest, at times the focus of my life, as when I pursued and received an associate's degree in photography, a bachelor's in art, and a Master's in Humanities.
IslandLotus Yoga is the name of my yoga studio, and this is a watercolor I did of the lotus along the causeway to Knotts Island, and along the road on which IslandLotus is located.
Some years ago, in pursuit of another lifelong interest, I went on an archaeological dig in southeast Utah. It lasted one month and every night, coyotes sang us to sleep. I wrote a short story based on that experience, which I'm now expanding into a book, called Coyote Moon. I painted this watercolor thinking it might be the cover for that book.
